PULSED FIELD MAGNETOMETRY / PFM04

Pulsed Field Magnetometers apply a “pulse” of magnetic field to generate the applied magnetic field.  This has the advantage that the field can be strong enough to saturate any magnetic material.

The PFM04 machine is suitable for laboratory applications with fields of up to 20 Tesla.   Small magnetic samples are manually loaded into the magnetising coil.   The machine is suitable for low production rates.
