The PFM04 machine is
suitable for laboratory applications with fields of up to 20
Tesla. Small magnetic samples are manually loaded into the
magnetising coil. The machine is suitable for medium production
rates. ~80 seconds per sample PFM12
The PFM12 is an instrument suitable for rapid measurements in a manually loaded environment. Often full loop measurement of all magnetic materials. The PFM12 can be supplied in various configurations with fields up to 7.5 Tesla and samples in excess of 30mm diameter and 30mm length. The machine is suitable for medium production rates. PFM21
The PFM21 machine is
suitable for commercial production environments with fields of up to
7.5 Tesla. It will take samples of 30mm diameter and 30 mm
long at
production rates of 6 seconds. The machine can be manually operated or integrated with semi or fully automatic handling systems (which can be supplied by Hirst). The finished magnets can leave the machine as fully saturated, calibrated to a specific value or fully demagnetised magnets. An automatic pass/fail or segregation system can also be supplied. the PDF. The PFM22 offers high speed measurements (~4 seconds)
including loading and unloading. This system offers the highest
